Our partner is the Hungarian IT service centre of a stable international corporate group, supporting the group's IT operations across Europe and worldwide.

The Hungarian IT centre is undergoing active growth and transformation. More IT functions and responsibilities previously handled in Germany are being transferred to the Hungarian teams, while entirely new roles and capabilities are being established locally.

This is more than headcount growth: the Hungarian organisation's responsibilities and international role are expanding. It is an especially exciting time to join.

Responsibilities

• Automate the company's IT environment and processes to support more reliable operations
• Develop automation workflows and scripts hands-on, and improve existing solutions
• Automate service request processes to accelerate delivery and reduce manual errors
• Support the development of scalable and self-service solutions in collaboration with specialist IT teams
• Help specialist IT teams identify and implement automation opportunities
• Identify and implement automation opportunities across infrastructure, platform, cloud and application environments
• Keep up with new technologies and solutions, and assess their suitability for an enterprise environment
• Identify requirements spanning multiple projects and IT domains, and translate them into automation solutions
• Work closely with international IT, infrastructure and development teams

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, ideally backed by several years in IT administration or system engineering
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its services
• Hands-on experience in automation or scripting
• Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python
• Knowledge of ITSM, collaboration and ticketing solutions such as ServiceNow, Jira or Confluence
• Independent, systems-level thinking and the ability to identify improvement and automation opportunities beyond day-to-day operations
• Confident communication and collaboration in an international professional environment
• English language proficiency
